Every ritual at The Soothing Pace opens and closes with breath. It is the quiet bookend that turns an appointment into an experience.
We favor a long, slow exhale — inhale gently for a count of four, then release for a count of six or more. The extended exhale is what tips the nervous system toward calm.
At the start, it helps you arrive: shoulders down, jaw loose, attention settling into the room. At the end, it helps you carry the calm out the door with you.
You can borrow this anywhere — in traffic, before a hard conversation, at your desk. A few slow exhales are always available to you.
